As I mentioned, the owners of mybooke.Ag have ties to the old bet on sports brand. This is a good thing; even though that company did have a reputation for closing accounts of players who won too much, they were also the pioneers in many forms of the business. Mybookie.Ag has been in business since 2014.
The company is based in costa rica, but rather than just get one of the bogus costa rica “gaming” license like so many of their competitors, the company has chosen to get theirs from curacao. IS that any better, you may ask? Well, I say marginally – at least they had to be somewhat transparent when they went through the due diligence process. I wouldn’t count on the regulatory board being much help to you if you have a dispute with mybookie.Ag though.
Who can play at mybookie.Ag?
Well, I could list the countries that are restricted from play at this site, but it will be much easier to let you know who is allowed to play here. Without going into too many details, this site is clearly designed to be open to bettors from canada, the united states, and the united kingdom. There are a few other small countries not on the restricted list, but given this is primarily a site focused on american sports, those countries are the primary targets.
Software suppliers
The company has different software suppliers for different parts of their business. For their sportsbook, they use the software from digital gaming solutions, a smaller costa rica-based company. This software runs many of the sportsbooks that are also based in costa rica, and also featured a very limited number of casino games to complement the sportsbook platform.
To enhance their casino offering, mybookie.Ag has selected betsoft for digital casino games and vivo gaming for their live dealer games. Both companies offer excellent software which, most importantly, will allow players from the U.S.

The good stuff

Look, I will be honest here: most of the sites I review are just online casinos, so it is great to come across a site that offers more than just casino games, especially one that is U.S. Facing. I am surprised the company doesn’t just take the bodog model into consideration – having two sets of lines, one for professionals and one for recreational players. At any rate, this is only going to be a problem if you start crushing the sportsbook.

Before bet on sports was shut down, they had been in some money trouble, often having players complaining to online forums. They claim to have paid all their players, and there don’t seem to be any recent complaints against mybookie.Ag, but I always have my eye open for any similar behavior when there is a connection to a site with issues in the past.

That’s fine for me as I am a blackjack player; if you prefer a different table game, then this bonus likely doesn’t do much for you.
Triple diamond 21
Continuing on the blackjack theme, this promotion offers a $500 bounty if you are dealt a 21 which is comprised of 3 7s of diamonds. The only qualification is that the bet you make has to be a minimum of $10 for the hand to count. To claim your prize, you need to email the casino and let them know; they will double-check the hand and then send you your winnings!

The loyalty program has 3 levels to it and is definitely sports betting-focused. In fact, I don’t see any way to earn bookie points while playing the casino games. Maybe I am missing something here? The company writes on their website that there are many ways to earn these points with the most common being betting on sports; maybe they do take casino play into consideration.

What we like about mybookie
When I first wrote this review, we didn’t have much to say about mybookie.Ag regarding positives. However, that has changed. While they do have some question marks and a short history in the industry – so far, they have been above-average, especially considering their large deposit bonuses and a number of markets. They are truly a sportsbook, where you can “bet on everything.”
Since coming under new management – mybookie.Ag has become a much better choice. Payout complaints from the past are now firmly in the rearview mirror with the new regime in control. We at SBS have a direct line to the head oddsmaker, so any player complaints or issues will be taken to him if there a problem with support.
Their rating at SBR has risen to a C and we’ve upgraded our own ratings to give them a 4.9/5. The operation is certainly on the up and up. They’re becoming an elite option in the industry.
What we don’t like about mybookie
There have been slow-play complaints so far, but these have been resolved. As we mentioned above, we feel a lot better about mybookie.Ag going forward with their management team.
Anytime a sportsbook is new in the industry (they’ve been in business only since 2014) – there is going to be more risk. Longevity is important in this industry and along with that comes trust. Mybookie only being around a few years just makes them a little less safe than other sportsbooks that are more established and have been around for 10+ years or longer. Interface and betting markets
As far as backend and software, mybookie has done an excellent job. Their betting platform upgraded since our last review, and it is some of the best software online. The new version is a lot faster than previous versions. There are some cool features such as “dark mode” and a much faster website, including the cashier. Loading times are a lot less with the new version, and it is far more fluid.
Their search function has returned to mybookie in their most recent software update. This is an excellent feature that makes finding betting markets a breeze.
Simply put in the player, event, team, or sport you want to bet on, and the results will appear. This makes finding markets much easier and faster. They also included dark mode as part of their latest update.
The sportsbook focus on north american and US markets. They do not offer as much variety for foreign sports. Most of their markets will be centered on the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and both college football and basketball. However, they do offer other sports, such as arena football, WNBA, golf, tennis, boxing & mixed martial arts. The oddsmaker is also a fan of added some props and markets you won’t see at many other places, such as #gamblingtwitter markets and stuff like big-3 basketball.
They also have entertainment and politics as a betting option. Aside from traditional parlays and teasers, mybookie.Ag had round robins and if-bets and reverses. It appears that they have no maximum betting limit if you call in, but their maximum online is $1,000. A $1,000 maximum is quite low, making them a sportsbook that caters to recreational players.
