GTA online players have uncovered a brand new glitch in the game’s casino that guarantees the featured supercar.
After years of waiting, rockstar games finally swung open the doors to grand theft auto online’s casino on july 23 - renaming the north vinewood location to the diamond casino and resort.
While the long-awaited addition added a ton of new content like cars, housing, and clothing, it hasn’t been without its problems. Players have reported issues with the casino’s stability and plenty of exploits that allow them to rack up insane amounts of chips and cash. And still, despite patches from rockstar, players have noted a fresh method to guarantee an incredibly expensive car.

In a discussion on the gtaonline subreddit, a number of users pointed out that the new ‘four-second method’ on the game’s lucky spin wheel will hand over the showcase car that players see when they walk into the casino.
Players would need to have a ‘fresh wheel’ - one that has the clothing reward selected - before trying to spin four seconds after the game prompts them to. Other players also noted that there is no necessary power at which players need to spin, but the method “practically guarantees the podium car” if they flick down quickly on the left stick.
While rockstar moved quickly to quell the recent inside track exploit, which pretty much allowed players to control the race, the developers have not yet found a way to stop players from taking unlimited spins on said lucky wheel.
Whether or not they are actively looking into this new glitch or not is unknown, but it is clearly a method that shouldn’t be in GTA V considering these podium cars are not meant to be easily won.
Players who attempt to pull off the strategy should be aware that they could face repercussions in the future if the developers begin clamping down on these exploits.

How to win your choice of prize with the GTA online lucky wheel glitch

To use the GTA online lucky wheel glitch, you need to be ready to quickly quit the game if the outcome of the spin is not the one you want. To do this, interact with the lucky wheel then push the left stick up and quickly pull it down to give it a strong spin, allowing you time to set up the next step. On PS4, press and hold the PS button to bring up the quick menu, then hover over the close application option and hit X twice if you don't get the prize you want. For xbox one, wait until you see what the outcome of your spin is going to be, then if you're not happy with it quickly press the xbox button, scroll to GTA 5 and press the menu button then choose quit. PC users can simply press their defined keyboard shortcut to quit once the result is seen.
All you need to do now is reload the game, and repeat the process for another chance to win the prize of your choice. Due to loading times it can take a short while to get back in, though you can speed things up a little by marking GTA online to load as default in the settings > saving and startup > startup flow menu, and setting the casino penthouse as your starting point on the interaction menu > spawn location option. Obviously, once you receive a prize you're happy with, don't quit the game and continue to collect your reward.
How to always win the casino podium car the GTA online lucky wheel glitch

If you don't want to leave things to chance, there is a method you can use which pretty much guarantees you'll win the podium car every time. To set this up, you need the lucky wheel to be resting on the clothing wedge two sections to the right of the vehicle wedge, as pictured above. You can ensure this set up is in place by playing a solo or invite only online session, otherwise you'll need to hope that nobody else has already spun the wheel in your casino – if they have, find a new session and try again or back out to the single player game and start a new solo/invite only session.
With the lucky wheel starting in the correct location, enter the spinning minigame then hold the left stick diagonally up and left between the 10-11 o'clock position. Wait a couple of seconds then gently bring the stick down while still pushing left – done correctly, the lucky wheel will slowly rotate once and land on the vehicle wedge, as shown in the gif above. You may need to experiment with the angle you hold the stick and speed you move it downwards, but as before you can quickly quit the game if you don't land the prize you're aiming for then reload for another go.
Note that although we were able to successfully replicate this method initially, as seen in the GIF above, we are struggling to do it now which may suggest a hotfix has been applied.

Technically all you're doing here is pushing the stick a certain way or quitting the game, but using the GTA online lucky wheel glitch is still gaming the system in order to secure a higher value prize. If rockstar detect irregular activity on your account then it's possible you could receive a temporary or permanent ban, though this is unlikely if you use this glitch responsibly – for example, winning a brand new car or the top cash/RP amount every day is likely to raise suspicions, but a single podium car win among other prizes would not look out of place.
The GTA online lucky wheel glitch has been known by players since the launch of the casino, and due to how it works it could be a difficult exploit for rockstar to counter. However, it's always possible that a hotfix could be deployed to eliminate it at some point, so use it (responsibly) while you can to ensure the reward of your dreams becomes a reality.

In the diamond casino & resort update for GTA online players will notice a number of new ways to earn money and even cars. Inside the casino there is a daily prize wheel players can spin for a chance at the podium car. This guide highlights the previous five weeks of podium cars that have appeared in GTA online. Check them out below.
Spin the lucky wheel
To win the podium car in the diamond casino players may spin the daily lucky wheel on the floor of the casino once per day. For penthouse owners this is free. For plebians the cost is $500 a spin. Here are your chances of winning the different prizes:
- Podium vehicle: 1 in 20.
- Vehicle discount: 1 in 20.
- Mystery: 1 in 20.
- Clothing: 4 in 20.
- Chips: 4 in 20.
- Cash: 4 in 20.
- RP: 5 in 20.
If you win the podium vehicle it will disappear from the casino floor. Winning the podium vehicle for a second time in a week will earn you 20k RP.
Also keep in mind the podium car changes every thursday during the GTA online’s weekly reset. This means you should check back each thursday to know what car is currently available.
Week 60 podium car: invetero coquette D10 (september 10)
Right now you can spin the lucky wheel to try and win the invetero coquette D10. This car sells for GTA$ 1,500,000. This care was added during the summer update and is based on the newly redesigned real world corvette.
Week 59 podium car: maibatsu penumbra FF (september 3)
The podium car you can win from september 3-10 is the maibatsu penumbra FF. This car typically sells for $1.38 million on the southern san andreas super autos website. This 2-door coupe is takes much of its stlying from the real life mistubishi eclipse.
Week 58 podium car: progen PR4 (august 27)
This week you have the chance to win the progen PR4 formula car when you spin the lucky wheel at the casino. This formula car is worth $3.515 million from legendary motorsports. Not a bad win if you can snag it.
Week 57 podium car: pfister 811 (august 20)
This week’s podium car is the pfister 811 super car. It was first released during the further adventures in finance and felony update back in 2016. This car is based on the real-world porsche 918 and sells for $1.135 million on legendary motorsport. Not bad week for those looking for a new sports car.

GTA online lucky wheel podium vehicle - progen PR4
Make sure you spin the lucky wheel on the casino floor every day for a 1 in 20 chance to win the nearby podium vehicle, which at the time of writing is a previously released GTA online casino car in the form of a progen PR4 worth a cool $3,515,000 from legendary motorsport. You also have a 1 in 20 chance to win a vehicle discount, giving you money off at one of the vehicle stores for a limited time (48 minutes, or one full in-game day) – you can check if you have any discounts available by going through the interaction menu > inventory > lucky wheel discounts. What other GTA online casino cars rewards can be earned
Everyone who completes all six casino missions will receive an armoured version of the enus paragon R, which is exclusive to those players. There were previously a series of GTA online casino cars rewards that could be unlocked by playing through the missions available once you've bought a diamond casino penthouse suite. By completing the second co-op mission, titled "house keeping", you earned an exclusive white and blue ink inc. Livery for the truffade thrax along with a matching tee (pictured above). If you went on to complete all of the co-op missions then you'd receive an exclusive ecola racing livery for the annis S80RR, and if you hosted all of these missions then you'd also collect an exclusive yeti animal print livery for the enus paragon R.
However, you needed to earn these before august 7, 2019 to claim the rewards listed, and although rockstar are introducing further rewards for completing these missions there are currently no more vehicle-related items to unlock.
