Step one – head to the casino and set your spawn location

Drive to the casino, then open the menu. Head to the online tab, then options and set your spawn location to ‘casino penthouse’.

Next up, change your outfit to ensure you spawn location saves.

Step two – head to inside track

Once you’ve entered the casino, head to inside track (the horse race betting section).

Once you’re inside, take any seat to begin betting.

Step three – place your bet

Once you’ve opened the betting computer, click the ‘place bet’ button on the bottom right (below).

Find the horse with the worst (or highest) odds. In this case, COURTZ bet on a horse that was 26/1.

Then, stake the maximum amount on your horse (10,000 chips) and click ‘place bet’.

Sit back and enjoy the race (kind of…).

Step four – if you lose, QUIT!

Now this is the important part. If your horse wins, happy days, you walk away with all your winnings.

However if your horse is not going to win, quit the moment you realise it’s got no chance of winning. Make sure you close your game before before the horses cross the finish line.

Step five – respawn and go again

Once you’ve quit GTA V, restart the game.

You should spawn back at the casino, as that’s where you set your spawn location.

You’ll realise that you still have the full amount of chips that you had before you placed the losing bet.

Therefore, you can go back to the inside track and start this whole process again. Repeat this system until you win and as many times as you like!

So there you have it – a money glitch that allows you to make a ton of GTA dollars if you put a little time and effort in.

Original story: though it sounds as if it may have already been patched out on console, there's currently a glitch in GTA online on PC that will let you fill your pockets with casino chips quickly and easily. The glitch allows players to win the maximum payout on an inside track race while only risking a couple of hundred chips.

Seeing as how this is basically an exploit, I won't explain how to actually do it, but you can find it pretty quickly if you search the internet. It doesn't require any bots or scripts: it's just about using your mouse in a certain way when placing your bet.

Be warned: we don't know if or how rockstar will punish players for using this exploit, but you could be risking having your account banned or losing all those chips if you get busted. And it's probably not worth it, honestly, to win a bunch of fake money while you sit in a casino, though I myself have been doing it a bunch today because I'm a filthy cheater.

The exploit only works with the single event betting option, not the main event (multiplayer) races. Essentially, you start the race having bet only 200 chips, but while the race is running your bet continues increasing, even though you can't see it happening. If you lose, you just lose the 200 you bet before the race started. If you win, you win whatever the maximum payout is. I just tried it this morning and it's definitely still working.

The smart thing to do is not risk your account by using this exploit. But if you do use it, then the smart thing to do is to bet on the #1 horse, which always has the best chance of winning. The payout won't be massive if the odds are evens or 3/1, but you'll win more often than not. With even odds you'll get 20,000 chips with each win and only lose 200 if your horse doesn't finish first.

Or, you could do what I do, which is bet on the #6 horse which usually has odds somewhere between 20/1 or 30/1. You won't win often and you'll be losing 200 each race, but when the #6 horse does win the payout is huge. I just won 270,000 on a 26/1 horse. It's a big payday for a lousy cheat like me.

I'll let you know if rockstar takes away my ill-gotten winnings somehow. Proceed at your own risk for now.

On PS4, press and hold the PS button to bring up the quick menu, then hover over the close application option and hit X twice if you don't get the prize you want. You can ensure this set up is in place by playing a solo or invite only online session, otherwise you'll need to hope that nobody else has already spun the wheel in your casino – if they have, find a new session and try again or back out to the single player game and start a new solo/invite only session.

With the lucky wheel starting in the correct location, enter the spinning minigame then hold the left stick diagonally up and left between the 10-11 o'clock position. Wait a couple of seconds then gently bring the stick down while still pushing left – done correctly, the lucky wheel will slowly rotate once and land on the vehicle wedge, as shown in the gif above. You may need to experiment with the angle you hold the stick and speed you move it downwards, but as before you can quickly quit the game if you don't land the prize you're aiming for then reload for another go.

Note that although we were able to successfully replicate this method initially, as seen in the GIF above, we are struggling to do it now which may suggest a hotfix has been applied.

Technically all you're doing here is pushing the stick a certain way or quitting the game, but using the GTA online lucky wheel glitch is still gaming the system in order to secure a higher value prize. If rockstar detect irregular activity on your account then it's possible you could receive a temporary or permanent ban, though this is unlikely if you use this glitch responsibly – for example, winning a brand new car or the top cash/RP amount every day is likely to raise suspicions, but a single podium car win among other prizes would not look out of place.

New stuff has been added to GTA 5 online this week with more being promised for later in the summer.

For now, gamers have plenty of new content to explore and missions to complete with the new casino expansion.

But over the coming weeks, new cars, items and modes are also expected to be released as part of a content drip-feed.

And one of these new items made their debut this week, which looks set to be followed by a lot more stuff.

The new vysser neo supercar is now available to buy for $1,875,000 in-game and comes with plenty of other bonuses.

Right now, casino story missions are paying out double rewards, another excellent reward for players with access.

Other new benefits have also been released for GTA online gamers who have an active twitch prime account.

Rockstar has announced that all twitch prime members who linked their twitch and rockstar social club account before july 29th can claim their free master penthouse in-game via the website on their ifruit.

And the good news is that those who may have missed the latest deadline can still purchase the master penthouse and receive a rebate for the price of the base master penthouse unit within 72 hours.

And all twitch prime members who have linked their accounts before july 29th will also receive 70% off the mammoth thruster jet pack and the TM-02 khanjali tank through august 8, as well as an additional 10% off all of this week’s sale items listed above.

Gamers have also been exploring rumours that there are certain GTA 5 glitches that can be used to win more money through the inside track game.

This includes all sorts of different methods, as well as backing out to change the odds while in the casino.

There are also rumours of holding down certain buttons to boost your payout, something that wasn’t planned by rockstar games.

But it should be noted that some gamers are starting to see punishments when trying to perform certain actions.

And these aren’t all connected to glitches, as fans are mostly just trying to find ways to boost their winnings without using exploits.

Rockstar insider tezfunz2 has this to say about the new inside track betting system, adding: “now if you back out and log in too many times to change your odds, the game will punish you for one hour.

This includes a new survival creator mode from rockstar games, which will allow fans to create their own scenarios.

There have also been references to a new alien survival mode, perhaps like the mission featured in the GTA 5 story mission.

Unfortunately, we can’t predict what new items and modes will be released next in GTA 5 online, only that we can expect a new content drop later this week.

GTA online players have uncovered a brand new glitch in the game’s casino that guarantees the featured supercar.

After years of waiting, rockstar games finally swung open the doors to grand theft auto online’s casino on july 23 - renaming the north vinewood location to the diamond casino and resort.

While the long-awaited addition added a ton of new content like cars, housing, and clothing, it hasn’t been without its problems. Players have reported issues with the casino’s stability and plenty of exploits that allow them to rack up insane amounts of chips and cash. And still, despite patches from rockstar, players have noted a fresh method to guarantee an incredibly expensive car.

In a discussion on the gtaonline subreddit, a number of users pointed out that the new ‘four-second method’ on the game’s lucky spin wheel will hand over the showcase car that players see when they walk into the casino.

Players would need to have a ‘fresh wheel’ - one that has the clothing reward selected - before trying to spin four seconds after the game prompts them to. Other players also noted that there is no necessary power at which players need to spin, but the method “practically guarantees the podium car” if they flick down quickly on the left stick.

While rockstar moved quickly to quell the recent inside track exploit, which pretty much allowed players to control the race, the developers have not yet found a way to stop players from taking unlimited spins on said lucky wheel.

Whether or not they are actively looking into this new glitch or not is unknown, but it is clearly a method that shouldn’t be in GTA V considering these podium cars are not meant to be easily won.

Players who attempt to pull off the strategy should be aware that they could face repercussions in the future if the developers begin clamping down on these exploits.

If you're searching for the GTA online inside track glitch, then you've no doubt heard it was a particularly profitable way to win chips on horse racing events, by securing the maximum win payout while only having to place the minimum bet. It's true that when the diamond casino and resort launched, savvy players discovered a technique to quickly amass large numbers of chips at the GTA online casino, without the risk of staking more than the bare minimum bet to limit their exposure.

The method for activating the GTA online inside track glitch is very simple, and just involves the following steps. First, head to the inside track area of the casino and interact with a terminal, then choose the single event option. Next, select the horse on the left you want to bet on – usually the top two options are most likely to win, and therefore actually give you a return on your bet, but as always the outcome is completely random. Finally, move the cursor over to the increase bet arrow, press and hold X (PS4) or A (XBO, PC pad) then immediately tap down on the d-pad to move the cursor to place bet while still holding X/A.

The race will automatically start and you'll be charged your 200 chips bet, but keep holding X/A until the end of the race and your bet amount will secretly increase in the background. If your horse loses, you'll only have lost your original small bet, but if your horse comes in first then you'll receive the maximum winnings – which even at evens will result in 20,000 chips being deposited to your account! To summarise the GTA online inside track glitch method:

Select your horse to bet on – 1 or 2 are most likely to win

Press and hold X/A on the increase bet arrow

Immediately tap d-pad down while still holding X/A to start the race

Keep X/A held until the end of the race and see if you win

Repeat

As with any glitch or exploit in an online game, there are certain risks with using the GTA online inside track glitch, especially if you do it to excess. Rockstar have the ability to ban users from accessing the casino games if they detect excessive or irregular betting patterns, and a number of players have reported this happening to them. However, a lot of them were using bots or macros to speed up the process, which may have made them easier to detect.

Essentially, you're not actually hacking the game, so as long as you don't go over the top with your casino chip harvesting then you shouldn't run into any problems. That being said, you are using an exploit to earn more chips than you should be entitled to, so don't be surprised if your use of the GTA online inside track glitch leads to a temporary ban from casino game activities.
